Become a specialist fitter for sealing joints in windows and front doors

The training concept of the Gütegemeinschaft Gebäudeabdichtungssysteme e. V. consists of two consecutive units leading to a qualification at the RAL Academy. As a fitter for building elements, jointing specialist, planner or architect, you will obtain the RAL qualification as a "Specialist fitter for joint sealing - windows and front doors" as part of this training course. To participate, you must have at least two years of professional experience.

As a member of the quality association, we pass on our theoretical and practical expertise to you:

The first module takes place at the Hanno factory (Laatzen). Here you will learn the basics of RAL qualification at first hand, have the option of trying your hand at practical work and visiting the factory.
The cost of Module 1 is 198 euros, including an overnight stay in the Hildesheim / Hanover area, dinner, snacks and drinks during the event.

Alternatively, the workshop can also be held at the locations of our Premium Partners or offered as in-house training (dates by arrangement). In this case, our employees will visit your company and convey the content in a practical manner. After completing the first module, you will receive a certificate entitling you to participate in the second module.

Module 2: Advanced and examination module at the RAL Academy

Part 2 of the training concept takes place together with the examination at the RAL Academy in Bonn. The advanced and examination seminar includes a one-day refresher course on the relevant standards and guidelines, as well as product selection, organisation, documentation and error handling. Lecturers from theory and practice include application engineers, experts and specialist lawyers.

After successfully completing the examination, you will receive the certificate as a "RAL qualified specialist fitter for joint sealing - windows and front doors".

The second module and the examination together cost 450 euros.

Cancellation policy for module 2:

1. participation can be cancelled by the member company in text form to the RAL Academy up to 14 calendar days before the respective event date. In the event of cancellation, the RAL Academy will charge the following costs:

up to 29 calendar days before the start of the event: 50.00 euros
28 to 15 calendar days before the start of the event: 30 % of the participation fee

2. in the event of cancellation 14 calendar days before the event date, the RAL Academy shall charge the full participation fee.

3. if the minimum number of participants is not reached, the RAL Academy may cancel up to 14 calendar days before the training event. There is no entitlement to the organisation of the training event.
