1. Weatherproofing layer

The weatherproofing layer must be windproof and resistant to driving rain, whilst remaining vapour-permeable.

2. Functional layer

The functional layer is situated between the outer and inner waterproofing layers and serves to provide sound and thermal insulation at the junction. It should be completely filled.

3. Inner layer

The inner layer must be airtight and have a higher vapour pressure resistance than the waterproofing on the outer side. This can also be achieved exceptionally well using products that have been tested for moisture variability.
