We are a medium-sized company in Laatzen with around 200 employees. Our products provide sealing, sound insulation and acoustics - in buildings, cars and machines.

Your apprenticeship:

• Start: 01.08.2026
• Duration: 2 years
• Pay scale: €1225/month in the 1st year of apprenticeship, €1296/month in the 2nd year of apprenticeship
• Setting up, operating and retooling machines
• Monitor production processes
• Check and document quality
• Carry out maintenance work

What you need:

• An interest in technology and manual dexterity
• Motivation, reliability and team spirit are more important to us than perfect grades
• Good knowledge of maths and physics is an advantage, but not a must
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programmes is helpful
• A secondary school leaving certificate

Machine and plant operator (m/f/d)

Hanno Werk GmbH & Co KG, based in the Hanover region, is a medium-sized company with approx. 200 employees. We specialise in the sealing of connection joints in building construction and the manufacture of industrial seals, as well as in technical sound insulation for the automotive and mechanical engineering industries and in products for improving room acoustics and sound insulation.

Your tasks:

• Independent operation and set-up of the system
• Carrying out first-part, intermediate and factory self-tests
• Documentation and booking of measurement and production results
• Elimination of simple machine faults
• Maintaining order and cleanliness in the plant area
• Instruction and cooperation with assigned temporary staff

your profile:

• Completed vocational training in the industrial sector desirable
• Basics in dealing with parts lists, work plans
• Knowledge of quality management (testing, documentation, labelling and traceability)
• Thinking and measuring in "mm" units
• Basic PC and ERP knowledge (ideally ProAlpha)
• Calculation skills
• Knowledge of materials
• Ability to work in a team
• Manual dexterity
• Permanent attention (monitoring the machine run)
• Reading & writing (written & spoken German)
• Diligence (cleaning and maintenance of the workplace)
• Sense of order and cleanliness
• 3 shift operation
