Product description
Hanno®-flashing tape DUO Easy consists of a modified polyamide film/fleece combination. The four-layer tape has a variable sd value. The fully adhesive backing allows for very easy, completely concealed installation of the flashing tape, which can be plastered and painted over, without additional bonding to the masonry. A version with an additional adhesive strip on the top is also available.

Processing
It must be ensured that there is no separating film on the surface to be bonded, e.g. due to moisture, grease, or dirt, etc., which could prevent the adhesive from contacting the surface. Adhesion to the respective surface must be ensured by conducting your own tests. The substrate must be sufficiently load-bearing and provide a suitable adhesive base. A spray primer can be used on highly absorbent substrates and to support adhesion to cold, damp surfaces. We recommend Fast Drying spray adhesive from Bowcraft. Hanno®-flashing tape DUO Easy can also be used at low temperatures down to -10 °C. Ensure that there is no separating film on the surface to be bonded, e.g., due to moisture, ice, or frost, etc., which could prevent the adhesive from contacting the surface. Full adhesive strength is achieved after thawing to > 0 °C. The additional adhesive strip of Hanno®-flashing tape DUO Easy+ can be used at ≥ +5 °C. Low temperatures can reduce adhesion. The dwell time during which the bond cannot be subjected to stress is extended accordingly. Sufficient adhesion should be ensured by conducting your own tests before further processing. It is recommended to preheat the flashing tape to +15 °C to +25 °C before processing at low temperatures. Unroll Hanno®-flashing tape DUO Easy and cut to length with approx. 5 cm excess. Remove the cover film and carefully press the adhesive strip onto the back of the window. Repeat this process on all sides of the window that need to be sealed, both for the inner and outer sealing. Then align the window element, fasten it, remove the remaining protective film, stick it onto the masonry and press down firmly over the entire surface. No additional adhesive is required for bonding to the masonry substrate. Bond the joints overlapping. Follow the installation instructions included with the product. Any gaps can be filled with Hanno®-3E foil adhesive MS, for example. Fill the cavity between the window and the wall with insulation material, e.g., Hanno® gun foam, in measured doses. Ensure sufficient fabric reinforcement of the plaster in the reveal area.Cleaning
- Skin cleaning with soap and water. Impregnate and/or adhesive residues can be removed with a petrol-based cleaning agent. Please observe the safety instructions.
