Insulation for server and network cabinets
Raised floors in data centres are mostly used for the cabling of network cabinets. This means that cable ducts in these floors are essential for feeding the cables into the cabinets.
The problem is that a very large proportion of the cold air intended for server cooling escapes through the cable openings and reduces the static pressure in the raised floor. By sealing these openings with Hanno®-Tect, up to 10 % of the total energy required for cooling can be saved.
